Character Precepts Training Institute Private Limited (CPTI) was registered as a Board of Investment Company in April 1999. It was the fulfillment of a long awaited vision to aid the Business, Education and Government sector in Sri Lanka. The Managing Director of CPTI was one of eight children raised in Kansas and Nebraska by a strong, disciplined, man of character, Mr. Delbert L. Unruh. He instilled a work ethic in his six sons who today are leaders in various capacities as businessmen in industries like agriculture, automobiles, petroleum and lead in their separate communities as Pastors and other aspects of church leadership. Starting a character based training institute was a natural outcome of being raised in an environment where character was taught by example and instruction from the Bible.
